I'm still pissed with Bobby. It was at some point in 83 or so, but he borrowed a lavendar polo shirt from me since he ripped his tie-dye (or was it his dashiki - I forget) and then proceeded to wear the damn thing show after show and never gave it back. I would think now that he's fatter and gone for the beard and birkenstocks, I could get it back.

oh crap! is that your polo shirt?? Bobby gave it to me in the late 80's, it's a bit frayed, but I'll send it posthaste!! Alot of the bobby bashers were probably stageside and had to endure his, uh, spray

and besides, he never got the lyrics to Truckin right

Speaking of shirts, at the Cap Center show (or was it the MCI center by then?) where they broke out the Ripple encore to make up for an otherwise dud of a show, in the parking lot before hand my friend and I were selling black hanes t-shirts like Jer wore (black with the pocket) for $5. "Wear the shirt Jerry wears - only $5." We sold two and were left with two a piece (mine is still in use). Anyway, Jerry wore some funky Guatemalan (sp?) shirt that night. I've always wondered if someone in the organization told him about us. Sure did flip our lids.

I'm shocked that you are not offering these last two shirts on E-Bay for free.

This from the musician who gave gave us "August". Hey, why can't I stream Eric Clapton's live soundboards on the net for free? What a selfish a---hole he is. And why is it so expensive to go see him play with Cream? And where was the taper's section? That DVD should have been free too.

Not to mention ripping off J.J. Cale's style for the better part of the 70's
